What is PSA Nitrogen Generator?

A PSA Nitrogen Generator is a machine that produces nitrogen gas from the air using Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA) technology. This process separates nitrogen from oxygen and other gases in the air, providing a continuous supply of pure nitrogen. These generators are widely used in industries where nitrogen is essential for production, packaging, or storage. How Does a PSA Nitrogen Generator Work? The PSA technology works based on the ability of Carbon Molecular Sieves (CMS) to absorb oxygen while allowing nitrogen to pass through. The process occurs in two towers filled with CMS, which operate in cycles: Adsorption Phase : Compressed air enters the first tower. The CMS traps oxygen, and pure nitrogen flows out. Regeneration Phase : The trapped oxygen is released from the CMS in the second tower by depressurization. This prepares the tower for the next cycle. Continuous Operation : The two towers switch roles to provide an uninterrupted nitrogen supply. Industries That Use PS...
